Quality
We know that our customers cannot afford to receive non-conforming products. That's why quality is a priority at AMI, we put a lot of focus on our inspection and quality area. This area is enclosed in a temperature and humidity controlled environment to ensure consistency. All gauging calibrations are also scheduled and documented regularly. We currently hold ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2009 Rev. C certifications.
Our inspection department incorporates the use of CMM technology, generating printouts of inspections findings. Our full-time inspection includes material certification, document control, and all certifications from all outside vendors, including heat treat, plating, paint, and all other finishes. We initiate 100% inspection after every operation and our records are maintained as evidence of final product acceptance.
Engineering
Our software programs include Pro-E 2008, Solidworks 2008, Esprite W, Auto Cad, and Virtual Gibbs (4 seats) which allows us to read and program most files (CATIA, STEP, IGES, PRT, SLDPRT, and many more). We accept any electronic files via email, and are currently implementing an FTP site for our customers to access.
We have six full-time quality professionals who are skilled in programming and utilizing the latest software and equipment. Our customers have high expectations and our quality department stands behind our products.
