Alliance Machine was established in 1987 by our CEO and President, Patrick Provo, who still works full-time at AMI. Pat's roots in the machining industry were planted in 1966 when he decided to become a machinist for a local company.

After his time in the service was finished, he moved back home and returned to the same company and continued his work as a machinist. After eight more years of learning the trade, Pat and another business-minded colleague decided to form a partnerhsip and start their own shop, Olympic Machine.

Eight years after that, the partnership ended and Pat founded Alliance Machine. From 1987 to 2000, Alliance Machine focused mainly on short-run production and special machine design and builds for companies like 3M, IBM, and Seagate.

In 2000, with the help of Pat's son Bryan (now Vice President of Alliance Machine), Alliance began making the transition into the industries they now specialize in: Defense, Aerospace and Medical.

From its humble beginnings out of Pat's Garage, Alliance Machine has grown into a flourishing small business serving many industries. Alliance now employs 36 employees, boasts a 24,000 square foot, state of the art facility complete with 18 variations of CNC Mills, 10 CNC Turning Centers and Lathes, Wire EDM, and in-house Quality Control department that is 2nd to none for companies of similar size, and many other Supporting Capabilities.

Alliance Machine's current quality certifications include ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2009 Rev C.
